They came right away and did all testing. The results were fast and it was found that we had mold. We were referred a mold remediation company from Mold Test USA and they did a great job as well.

I had what I thought was mold in my apartment and was looking fo a mold testing company in Wilmington NC with great reviews and found Mold test USA. This is a great company to work it. Love the independent testing and results. Turned out to be mildew! Saved me thousands in unnecessary mitigation costs from a restoration company.

After recently moving into an apartment with my 5 month old son, I became increasingly concerned about toxic mold. The concern was confirmed by Greg, the wonderful owner of this company. He personally tested my home and provided excellent recommendations about the course of action I should take to rectify the situation. Not sure what happened to some of these reviewers, but I do know that as a business owner, you typically only hear the "bad". And that is usually exaggerated. I called on Mold Test USA to inspect/test my mother's home. She's 86yo. The person I spoke with on the phone to schedule the inspection was great. I instantly received an email with a welcome packet attached to it. It let me know what to expect from them. The inspector confirmed the appointment the morning of the appointment and arrived on time. So far so good. She inspected outside and inside, attic to crawlspace. Terrific and very informative. She found evidence of two potential water leaks (roof and the dishwasher). She noticed what looked like mold growth way up inside of the top corner of the sink cabinet, and took a sample of it. She recommended an air sample in the kitchen, one in the master bedroom where there might be a leak, and one in the living room (central location in the home). The lab results and the inspection paperwork arrived just a couple of days later (nice surprise!) and then I called in to discuss the results with Lance (he's their GM and goes over results with customers). He was busy with another customer, but called me back within the hour to discuss. He too was very informative, patient, and he concluded that there was most likely a leak in the master bedroom and in the kitchen. He also suggested taking better care of the crawlspace (water vapor barrier) because the humidity was very high in there. He gave me a few tips on reducing the humidity indoors (inspector said it was 66%, and Lance said to get it under 50% to reduce mold, mildew, bacteria and dust mites---excellent tip). Overall, my family was extremely pleased by their service and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a mold inspection.
