A RARE ATTORNEY! Where do I begin? My divorce lasted almost 2 years. Michael was able to negotiate a fair settlement with a narcissist who thought everything was his. My ex fought over everything! He emptied all the bank accounts, shut off my credit cards, hid stock, etc... I was a stay-at-home mom of 3 boys. Fast forward 2 more years. My ex’s company was getting bought out and all the stock was immediately vesting. He filed a false cohabitation case in court trying to take away my lifetime maintenance and get out of paying me the stock I was half owner of. My ex knew the truth. He stalked my social media and took screenshots of all my pictures with my boyfriend. Him and his attorney made up a false narrative and lied and threw it all in court. My ex’s attorney tried dragging it out as long as they could. They subpoenaed text messages, emails, photos, phone records, my phone, my home computer, hired a private investigator to follow me for months. Michael pushed for depositions and a trial date in order to expose the TRUTH! Michael subpoenaed his company (again) in order to have proof he was once again hiding stock from me and making up a false case. My ex’s attorney was happy to play along in the 3 years of insanity because he got rich off filing all these crazy petitions and subpoenas. Even after learning the truth they kept pushing on. If it wasn’t for Michael protecting me... if a judge would have believed his lies... I would have been left penniless, no job and 3 kids living with me. My ex is a Fortune 500 CEO. Michael understands corporate executive compensation packages/stock very well. He has a very strong financial background. He had to sift through 2 different company packages/tracing stock buyouts because my ex had switched companies. He has a calm demeanor and is highly respected. He has integrity. He will do his best to diffuse hostile ex’s and their attorney’s. He will fight for you! I have seen other women in similar situations that did not end as well for them as it did for me. The difference was Michael. They did not have an attorney like Michael protecting them and pushing through all the craziness to expose the lies. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me and my kids. My future is set because of him. I am finally free of an abusive/narcissistic ex and can move on with my life. I hired Mr. Craven in connection with my marriage dissolution. As an attorney myself, I deal with lawyers all the time—as opposing counsel, outside counsel, and sometimes even as clients. As a result, I tend to hold lawyers to a higher standard than most people. Michael far exceeded those standards because he has an excellent command of the law, communicates responsively, was courteous to everyone, and offers very practical counsel that provided for a reasonable, favorable outcome. The fact that he’s also a CPA is also a big value add, especially for those with complicated tax situations during divorce. I very highly recommend his services.

Firstly, Michael was always available when I needed him. He helped me with a complicated situation that involved the courts and a false allegation directed towards me and my family. A top notch attorney and a class act!!! Michael Craven is the best! He is a compassionate straight shooter who delivered on his word! I witnessed my brother go through 9+ years of an acrimonious divorce. It was tragic. He was forced to rely on silver tongue promises of other lawyers who fell short on their delivery. Hiring an attorney is a big deal, and trusting your attorney is even more important. Especially when you are dealing with highly contested issues such as Child Custody and out-of-state Removal. It was a leap of faith when I hired Michael, and I did so based on the reviews from this website. I took a chance – and I don’t regret it one bit. I was going through a fairly simple divorce proceeding, with a very complex child custody case. I also wished to move out of state – actually, half way across the country, with my child, to be close to family and a strong support system. From the moment I had my initial consultation with Michael, I knew he was the right attorney for my case. He knows the law, and will move your case appropriately through the court, with the proper paperwork, and will not leave any stone unturned. He does this with confidence and diligence, never arrogance, and he does it properly, the first time! The end result of my case: I was able to move out of state with my child. I was awarded sole custody. I am divorced. These are the three things that were most important to me, and I got them all!
